I can't believe no one has posted since May....where is everyone?

Thats a very good question! Where is Mark Mason? Where is Cat Diary? Where are the cute cat videos and pictures? I don't live in Portland/Tigard anymore, so I can't listen to KEX. I wish I knew what is going on.

I emailed Mark and he said his life has been so busy that he hasn't been able to do Cat Diary lately. But he hoped to be back at it soon. I can well understand that. But I was really concerned that no one was posting any questions on Feline Forum. Good to know someone else is checking in once in awhile.

Yes, I have been waiting a long time since Mark responded to my email. It has been months ago. He can't be that busy. Maybe he has lost interest. If Mark doesn't send out diaries, it seems like no one posts anything on the forum.

I think its very unfair to say hes not interested. Mike leads a very busy life beyond CAt Diary. He has a full time job that requires extra hours and a family, with children. Hopefully he'll back with a new edition soon.

I'm still around with my tribe of 28 or so cats. We all send our felicitations for a fun and furry fall-time to you and your felines. :)

Janis, good to see you. I can't imagine having that many cats, but I do know yours aren't indoor cats or at least not all of them. If i lived in the country where they would be safe, I would have more. For now, Miss Kitty, is an indoor cat with very restricted outdoor access. I wish now that I had gotten a playmate for her when she was young. I don't think she'd do well with another cat in the house now that she's 10.

I was wondering that myself, I joined the board about six months ago and thought this was a really active board, then I looked at the dates of the post. What a shame looks like it could be a great board. So hi to anyone who's here.

It had been very active but I think a lot of people don't check it unless there is a current issue of cat diary. Anyway, welcome. Maybe Mark will have time to do a new issue soon.

Maybe Mars and Indiana are just getting better at hiding their diaries from Mark! LOL

I promised I would update you all -- MizFurball, I *can* be that busy. In fact, time flies when you have none. The radio business is changing like every other business in the world, and requires a lot more care and feeding than ever before. Trust me, it doesn't feel like work because broadcasting is my passion, but it clearly fills much of my daily calendar. Add to that the NBA duties, a kid in college and a senior in high school and a 14-year old who is my last chance to enjoy parenthood, when I come up for air there is less and less of me. And I'm not getting any younger! I just saw a picture of me from 15 years ago -- wow, I had brown hair. Now it's mostly silver! So i have to carve out time for Cat Diary, and figure it will be in fits and starts. This is one of those starts. Trust me, I am always thinking about the next cat adventure. When they do stupid things or wreak havoc in my life I make mental notes to share them with you. The best thing you can do for me is to share the web address with your cat-loving friends. And visit this board between seasons. It's always here for you!

Ok, just messed up somehow and either lost my half-written post or sent it. So if it appears, just ignore it and think 'crazy cat lady' ;)
Meanwhile, I agree w/Dorbow; I'm sure many don't think of posting until we receive an issue of Cat Diary. I looked back and couldn't believe it's been almost 2 years since I've been here!! My how time flies when life gets in the way!
So glad you're back Mark! And so glad I'm back. Love the Diaries and the furum! Much has changed w/my fur babies in the past 2 years (lost 3 babies, was adopted by a new one). Still grieving a bit but am ready to start reading and writing again. Esp w/my new, disabled stray who adopted me last year.
Glad Mark is back, glad Cat Diary is back and soooooo happy that I'm back. Looking forward to reading posts and joining in discussions!
Love and chin scratches to Mars and Indy!

Hairy Hugs, Mickie
